This is my favourite pink powder blush ever! It's such a gorgeous light pink that gives a subtle hint of colour

I was told this was amazing, and it is! I swear I've used less foundation thanks to this, as it really buffs it into the skin without leaving a lot of surplus product on my skin!

The last day of August is upon us. This used to be an exciting time for me as for as long as I can remember, it's signalled the start of a new year at school/sixth form/university. Being a graduate, September doesn't mean a new start for me as of yet, but I am determined to have a good clear out today and get my room all ship shape.

Review: MAC Costa Chic Lipstick

A while ago I purchased this beauty, as I'd missed out on Jazzed from the In The Groove collection, and I figured this was the next best thing!

Product

MAC say: Colour plus texture for the lips. Stands out on the runway. Simmers on the street! What made MAC famous.

I say: I think I've finally sussed out the different finishes on the MAC lippies now and I know which ones work for me. I wasn't sure which finish Costa Chic was as it wasn't listed on the 'Frost' list when you select the finish on the website. When it arrived and said 'Frost' I thought it'd have a finish like Angel. It's nothing like the finish on Angel though, and it's a really beautiful colour and texture.

Application

MAC say: Frosty light coral. Frost finish.

I say: I wouldn't really say that Costa Chic is frosty. I was kind of comparing it to Angel in a way as that is the other frost finish lippie that I own. But Costa Chic is beautiful and creamy and applies like a dream. A perfect, vibrant shade for the summer!

I'm slowly making my way through my new polishes! Today's polish is China Glaze's Coconut Kiss. I was not prepared for the sheer gorgeousness of this polish!!!

Models Own Purchase #

Hello lovelies :)

If you hadn't heard about the Models Own half price sale, you must have been living under a rock - no rock hermits? Good stuff. I decided to have a nosey and I picked up a rather modest 2 polishes and 2 lip balms. Or so I thought until my order arrived...

See - I ordered lip balms:

Upon further investigation, I realised that lip balm and gloss shades are the same. An easy mistake to make and they are insanely busy with the sale. I emailed them to let them know and they've popped the two lip balms in the post :)

EDIT: Received the replacement balms this morning - one in the correct shade, one in the incorrect shade *sigh*

Overall, I was incredibly impressed with the shipping! I ordered on Saturday night after I finally managed to get on to the website and place an order. This arrived first thing Tuesday morning!! Kudos to the staff for being so brilliant!! They all deserve a cocktail or three!!
