Review: Superdrug Camomile Face Wash

I've had this face wash for a while now, and now I've given it a good road test, I thought I'd share my thoughts on it.

Product

What Superdrug say: This gentle face wash containing soothing camomile extract will effectively remove make-up and dirt, leaving your skin feeling smooth, clean and refreshed. Dermatologically tested. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

What I say: The key word here is "effectively". Boy does this face wash work! Usually, I remove my make up with make up wipes then follow up with this cleanser. It really cleanses and I can see how much excess foundation it removes. Eek!

Application

What Superdrug say: Wet face and neck, massage onto skin with fingertips avoiding delicate eye area. Rinse well with warm water. Use as part of your daily skincare routine.

What I say: I always wet my face then I apply some of the face wash onto the scrublet that came with my L'Oreal Exfoliating Scrub then I use this on my face as I feel it removes more make up than my fingers would. More often that not, the scrublet goes orange - so you can see that make up wipes alone do not remove all of your make up. I rinse my face, pat it dry and voilà. I do think this leaves my skin a little dry so I always follow up with moisturiser. Overall, a great addition to my skincare collection.

Price: £0.59 - Although I swear I paid £1.00 for it. Cheap as chips regardless.

Overall, a no-thrills face wash that does exactly what it says. Have you tried it? What did you think? Got any recommendations for face wash? I need something to drastically clear up my skin at the mo, it's rebelling!
