Review: Witch Blemish Pen

Morning beauties :)

Back in March, you may have seen that I was invited to the Witch Skincare event and I came away with a bag full of lovely goodies to try. I like to take my time using skincare products before reviewing them so that I can fully see the benefits of prolonged use before I recommend them. First up on my list of things to review is the Witch Blemish Pen.

Product

Witch say: Witch Blemish Pen visibly reduces spot size and redness, perfect for fighting breakouts on the go. Visibly reduces spots and redness in 2 hours. Easy and convenient to use.

I say: Finally, an anti blemish product that does what it says on the packaging! As soon as I notice any blemishes, I whip this out and apply a bit and I find that most blemishes calm down/disappear fairly quickly and I definitely don't get much, if any, redness from them when I use this. I've noticed that a little product goes a long way. One small squeeze of the tube will be enough to cover all blemishes on my face if I have a few. I've used this loads and it's still not empty!

Application

Witch say: Brush on gently as often as you want from when blemishes first appear. Great for all skin types but especially oily/combination skin.

I say: To use this, unscrew the cap, squeeze the tube, and the product comes out of the brush applicator. I do have a minor niggle with the applicator and it's that the gel oozes out the sides rather than the end of the brush, but it's nothing major. The product is a clear gel with a blueish tint but it goes on clear and sinks into the skin fairly quickly. There's a mild scent of witch hazel but that's to be expected. The gel gets to work instantly and I certainly notice that my blemishes disappear fairly quickly and don't go red. Perfect!

  2. I have wanted to try this but just thought 'Ah another product that might not work' so just seemed to forget about it, but after this I think I am going to invest in it especially seeing as its on 3 for 2 might be time to pick up the primer and something else while I'm at it xxx
