Hello :)

I've seen this on lots of blogs in the last few days, so when I saw this on Rosalyn's blog, I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon and do it too :)

Skincare!!

1) How many times do you wash your face daily?
Morning and night

2) What skin type do you have?
Normal; combination T-zone

3) What is your current facial wash?
Superdrug's Cammomile Face Wash

4) Do you exfoliate?
I do occasionally. Not as often as I should though lol. I've got a few exfoliating face masks, so I'll usually use them a few times a month.

5) What brand do you use?
Superdrug face masks atm :)

6) What moisturiser do you use?
For my face, I'm using Cien's Face Moisturiser from Lidl. Yes, Lidl! It's cheap as chips at about £1.90!

7) Do you have freckles?
I do. Across the tops of my cheeks. They become more pronounced in summer

8) Do you use eye cream?
I've just started using Soap & Glory's Super Eyes Super Eyes

9) Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
No, luckily

10) Did you ever have to use Pro-Activ?
What's that?

11) What foundation do you use?
I'm currently using Max Factor's Miracle Touch, but after trying and absolutely loving L'Oreal's Matte Morphose, I'm definitely switching!!!

12) How about concealer?
GOSH Touch Up Concealer - I LOVE it!

13) Do you know your undertone colour?
Haven't got a clue!

14) What do you think of fake eyelashes?
I think they look great, but I haven't mastered the application yet.

15) Did you know you were supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?
Yes, but I can't afford to chuck them out every 3 months, so I'll use it until empty. Obviously if it smells wierd or the consistency changes, i.e. it dries out then I'll chuck it.

16) What brand of mascara do you use?
Switching between 3 at the mo. For every day I tend to use Lacura Sensitive Mascara in Black from Aldi. Yes, Aldi! It's cheap, does the job and smells nice. Yes, a mascara that smells nice! If it's chucking it down with rain, I'll use my Max Factor False Lash Effect in Waterproof Black. If I want to add some va va voom to my lashes, especially if I'm going out, then I always reach for my Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara in black.

17) Sephora or Mac?
I've never been to Sephora, and I've only bought 2 MAC products, but I'd have to say MAC.

18) Do you have a Mac Pro card?
No.

19) What makeup tools do you use in makeup application?
Make up brushes for pretty much everything except foundation (I don't like my foundation brush) and lipstick. My current foundation has a sponge so I use that. Otherwise, I'll use my fingers.

20) Do you use makeup base/primer for the eyes?
GOSH Eye Shadow Base

21) For the face?
Avon Magix Face Perfector - I absolutely love this product!!! It's lighter, and in my opinion, a lot better than L'Oreal's primer. I tested the GOSH primer in store and didn't like the feeling it left me with. Avon wins hands down at the mo, although I am on the lookout to try the primer from e.l.f. When I've that, I will write a comparison blog post :)

22) What is your favourite eyeshadow?colour or shade?
Oh gosh I don't know... erm I'm totally loving bronze and brown shades, as I have blue eyes so those sorts of colours compliment my eyes perfectly. Atm, I'm absolutely adoring Minimal Damage and Because I Said So by About Face Cosmetics.

23) Do you use pencil or liquid liner?
Currently using Rimmel's Exaggerate Eye Definer. It's a pencil I guess. It's got a very soft, creamy texture to it though, so not your average pencil and I find it really easy to use and it has great staying power. I use liquid liner occasionally, but I'm generally more of a pencil kinda gal

24) How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?
Rarely these days. I did when I first used it about 6 years ago though lol!

25) What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?
Beautiful. Quite tricky to work with sometimes though.

26) Do you use mineral makeup?
I've experimented in the past. I own quite a few mineral eye shadows, and one mineral lipstick. I've tried mineral foundation powder, but I've realised I prefer liquid/mousse foundation just because it gives better coverage.

27) What is your favourite lipstick?
I only own 3 lipsticks. Yes, 3. I've only fairly recently started to use them. Currently, my absolute favourite is MAC Angel

28) How about lipgloss?
Now, I do own quite a few of these! I love Rimmel's Royal Gloss because it's a high shine, non sticky formula. If I want a more shimmery glitzy look, I'll go for either of my two GOSH Light'N Shine Lip Glazes. If I want proper colour, I'll reach for either my Bourjois glosses or my Victoria Jackson glosses. I love the latter because they plump your lips up due to containing peppermint, and they really make your lips tingle!! I don't think I can name a favourite really, it depends on the type of look I want to achieve :)

29) What is your favourite blush to use?
Maybelline's Dream Mousse!!

30) Do you buy your makeup on Ebay?
I won't buy any usually expensive brands on eBay because they're probably fakes. However last year I did buy a lot of Avon make up on there as I found a lot of UK based Avon representatives selling brand new make up (still sealed, I will add!) for a fraction of the brochure price.

31) Do you like drugstore makeup?
Yes, it's the only make up I can afford to buy really lol! I buy a range of products across the different brands. The main ones I use are GOSH, Max Factor, & Rimmel. I do purchase from the others but not on a regular basis.

32) Do you go to CCO's?
I probably would if I knew where they were? If there's anyone in the Lincolnshire/Yorkshire/Nottinghamshire/Staffordshire area that know if there are any in the local area could you let me know please?

33) Did you ever consider taking makeup classes?
I would love to do this one day.

34) Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
Sometimes. I've lost count of the times I've poked myself in my eye whilst applying mascara and in the process manage to blink and get it all over my face lol!

35) Name a makeup crime that you hate?
Badly applied liquid eyeliner. If you're going to apply it, apply it right, please! And you can't just use it on your lower lashline either. In fact, don't lol!

36) Do you like colourful shades of makeup (lipstick or eyeshadow) or neutral ones?
I love colourful shades! I draw the line at orange and lilac lipstick though...

37) Which celebrity always has great makeup?
I always envy Kym Marsh's eye make up on Corrie, especially when she's working behind the bar in the Rovers. She has the most amazing silver and black smokey eyes. I'd like to borrow her make up artist please!

38) If you could leave the house using just ONE makeup item, what would you use?
Oh gosh. Mascara. A good one. I'd pick my Clarins Wonder Perfect because it gives volume, length and an eyeliner effect. Win!

39) Could you leave the house without any makeup on?
Nooo haha. If I really, really can't be bothered then I'll just use lip balm, eyeliner and a quick brush of mascara.

40) Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
Sometimes.

41) In your opinion what is the BEST makeup line?
Hmm... I can't choose lol. I quite like Max Factor for foundation and mascara. Love Rimmel for eye liner and nail polish. I love GOSH for concealer, eye shadow and nail polish. Lusting after heaps of different GOSH items really. Their mascaras look amazing. Haven't tried their foundation yet, but I will one day. Oh and I love their brushes. Ok, I'm going to go with GOSH. Final answer :D

42) What do you think of makeup?
I love it! This will probably sound dead shallow lol, but I think it makes a person sometimes. Some people are incredibly lucky to be naturally stunning without make up, and I envy them. Personally, I like to enhance and define my features so I can look a quarter as good as they do :) When I feel that I look good, I feel better about myself and my confidence increases. I love playing around and experimenting with different types of make up and brands, and I like going shopping for it too. There's nothing better than a make up shopping spree :D
