Review: MAC Cranberry Eye Shadow

Hi :)

A couple of weeks ago, I took the plunge and bought the long-time lusted after Cranberry eye shadow by MAC from the make up lady in the Students' Union at uni. I'd noticed that she finally had some MAC products in stock and to my surprise, many of them were half the RRP or less. Win! Typically, the one I wanted wasn't half price but there was a few quid knocked off it, so regardless, I bought it anyway :)

Product

MAC say: Reddish plum with pink shimmer (Frost)

I say: Not really sure where the pink shimmer is to be honest, but this is a beautiful red/plum shade that really looks quite striking when built up for maximum intensity :)

Application

MAC say: Highly-pigmented powder. Applies evenly, blends well.

I say: MAC pretty much summed up this little beauty. I think it's definitely a buildable colour too, and applies like a dream over my GOSH eye shadow base.
