Review: e.l.f. Studio Eye Shadow 'C' Brush

Hello cupcakes :)

Loads of people have been asking me to review the e.l.f. Studio brushes, and others have been asking for recommendations, so I'm going to start reviewing all of my e.l.f. brushes for you :D

Product

e.l.f. say: This new anti-bacterial, synthetic haired Taklon brush is softer and more absorbent, and can be used with wet or dry products. Be a professional makeup artist and create a flawless look with this e.l.f. studio brush! Created the perfect smoky eye. The medium size brush gives more control for more specific blending needs. Use with any powder eye shadow product for colour blending.

I say: I've tried the eye shadow brush from e.l.f.'s basic range of brushes, and found it a bit coarse for my liking. I decided to pick this up on my last order and I'm really pleased with it. It's a lot softer, yet still stiff enough to use. It's even softer than my GOSH flat shadow brush and it cost about double the price! This is a great size brush and I found it really easy to use. I love that it comes with a brush guard to help keep it in shape :)

Application

e.l.f. say: Dip brush into product and apply to the eye. To create a smoky eye, apply the brush tip on the outward corner of the eye by pressing the colour in a 'C' shape from the lash line up, flip the C on the right eye so it created an outward curve. Blend colour inward for definition.

I say: This brush is pretty brilliant at applying colour without the dreaded fallout, providing that you of course tap any excess off of the brush before using. It feels soft, yet still stiff enough to provide you with the definition that you require for looks such as the smoky look which e.l.f. describe.
