Review: Living Nature Balancing Shampoo & Conditioner

Hiya :)

I received these in my latest blogging parcel from My Pure. They came just at the right time as I was about to switch shampoo and conditioner, and I'd made the decision to start using more natural products after reading a multitude of posts from other bloggers. I received Living Nature Balancing Shampoo with kumerahou and kelp extract, and Living Nature Balancing Conditioner with active manuka honey.

Product

Living Nature say:

Shampoo - Leave your hair more manageable and soft to the touch. With nutrient rich kelp extract, this clarifying shampoo will restore your scalp's natural oil balance. For normal, combination, and oily hair.

Conditioner - Restore your hair to its natural beauty and shine. This creamy conditioner will help equalise oils and give your hair a nourishing lift. For normal and oily hair.

I say:

Shampoo - I was really surprised by this shampoo. I loved the smell - it reminded me of a homoeopathy clinic my sister used to visit a few years back - and it really helped my hair. I used to have to wash my hair every other day but I've found that using this I can leave it an extra day which is useful if I'm in a rush. My hair was left beautifully soft too. Really impressed.

Conditioner - This is a lovely conditioner. I found that it left my hair with a beautiful natural curly wave to it - and less frizz! - and it was much more manageable, and it didn't weigh my hair down at all.

Application

Living Nature say:

Shampoo - Use daily if needed. Massage a small amount into wet hair working from roots to ends. Rinse well with warm water and follow with Balancing Conditioner.

Conditioner - Use daily if needed. Smooth through wet hair from roots to ends after cleansing with Balancing Shampoo. Leave for a few minutes, then rinse well with warm water.

I say:

Shampoo - I found that a fifty pence piece dollop of shampoo was ample to cleanse my hair (which as a guide, is shoulder length). It smells gorgeous!

Conditioner - A little of this goes a long way. I like this as unlike a normal conditioner, it doesn't weigh my hair down and it doesn't feel like I've applied a conditioner in that sense, which I like. It also smells lovely and left my hair soft and sleek.
