Eyeko say: For a taste of la vie en rose, dip into this pretty pink gloss.

I say: I love the packaging of this cute gloss, but it's a little hard to get the lid off sometimes. It's a beautiful pink shade, and smells lovely!

Application

Eyeko say: Delicious lip smacking flavoured gloss.

I say: Rose is a somewhat odd choice for a lip gloss but it's quite nice and refreshing. Once applied, it stays put and gives a lovely shine and is not at all sticky. Lovely!

Day Twenty Four: Whatever tickles your fancy

Hello my little possums!

The next part of the 30 Days tag is another random post on a random subject.

I'm running out of ideas!! However, when I realised what day it was, I knew exactly what I could post about!!

Right about now, my friend Ruth and I will be being spoiled rotten in the Absolut Ice Bar in London!

Ruth was lucky enough to win £100 to spend in the Ice Bar and the Below Zero Restaurant. So we're donning our posh frocks, digging out our lovely clutch bags and heading for an evening of vodka, dinner and cocktails a plenty. Squiffy? In the words of Michael McIntyre, we'll be absolutely car parked my loves!!

Have a good evening!!

Day Twenty Three: A YouTube video

Hello lovelies :)

The next part of the 30 Days tag is to share a YouTube video with me. This had me racking my brains!!

I was going to choose something beauty related, but then you've probably all seen them before. Then I remembered about this little gem!

Intrigued?

Go and have a look :) Let me know how you get on!

Naughty Spends

Hiya :)

I hate myself. Remember how I told you I couldn't resist a sale or an offer? Well, I went into Superdrug on Monday because I wanted some salt spray for my hair, and a Maybelline Dream Mousse blush. When I got to the Maybelline stand it was on 3 for 2. Gahhh. So I picked up the blush I wanted, a blush I didn't really want or need, and the new Falsies mascara. Idiot. It better be good!

I picked up:
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara in Black (£7.99)
Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in Dolly Pink (£5.99)
Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in Mauve (free on the 3 for 2 offer)
and
GOSH Professional Salt of Mine Wet N' Dry Saltwater Spray (£3.00)

I was going to get myself Revlon ColorBurst lipstick in Peach because I swatched it and it's GORGEOUS. Revlon was also on 3 for 2. I told myself no, so didn't get it. Kind of gutted. Has anyone picked up the Peach lippie?

P.S. I'm away in London for a few days, so I'm not moderating comments. So be nice, behave yourselves and no spam. Or I'll hunt you down and exact my revenge. Fact ;P

My favourite recent website discovery is Tumblr.

For those of you who might not know what Tumblr is, it's a micro blogging site. I've found some brilliant things on there and it's sometimes quite funny.

Review: 17 Wild Curls Mascara

Hello everyone :)

There's been quite a buzz around 17's new offering of their gorgeously packaged Wild Curls mascara. After seeing Charlotte's post about it, I caved whilst in Boots the other day, and I have to say, I was pleased I did!

Product

17 say: Take a walk on the wild side this summer with 17 Wild Curls Mascara and create an intense look that will really put the 'grrr' into great lashes. A flick of this fabulous new mascara creates sexy, smouldering and sultry eyes that are loaded with volume and intense curl for a feline finish. The innovative shocking pink brush coats and coaxes for clump-free, ravishing lashes. The wild brush has soft, uneven bristles that allow you to get right to the root and dramatically lift lashes. With six times more volume, 17 Wild Curls Mascara will hold that intense effect for up to 10 hours, keeping you looking purr'fect all day long. The fabulous animal print packaging will also look ferocious in your make-up bag and help you stand out in the crowd.

I say: I was pleasantly surprised with this mascara. It's the first item I've tried from the 17 range. I think the sexy leopard print packaging helped persuade me ;P As soon as I applied this mascara, it visibly lengthened my lashes, added a bit of volume and separated them out perfectly. It was completely clump free. Amazing! The brush is a brilliant size and it reaches every single lash and added some great curl that lasted pretty much all day.

Application

17 say: Apply mascara as close to the root as possible. This will make them look super long, bold and wild. For a more dramatic effect add lashings of layers to your lashes - they can never have enough volume!

I say: I always try and apply my mascara from the root to give them lift and I was not disappointed with this mascara. As it coated every single lash, and didn't clump, I was left with long, curled lashes from the inner to outer corner, giving my eyes a fab feline look. Purr'fect :D

Review: Eyeko Posh Polish

Hi kids :)

Ah the greige trend. Finally, albeit a little late, I have tried it. And loved it. Eyeko's Posh Polish is my new BFF of the nail polish world. Fact.

Product

Eyeko say: For ladylike nails this chic taupe shade wins hands down. Eyeko polish features a nail friendly formula that is toluene, formaldehyde, DBP and camphor free!

I say: Posh Polish has a pretty good formula, not too thick and not too thin. Two coats gave perfect coverage.

Application

Eyeko say: No colour fade thanks to UV absorbers and an amazing glossy, chip resistant finish which strengthens nails too!

I say: I loved the finish on this polish. Shiny, highly pigmented colour that really was chip resistant for the 5 days that I had it on my nails. Love, love, love it.

Day Twenty: A hobby

Hello dears :)

The next part of the 30 Days tag is to share with you a hobby of mine

Well, my hobby is blogging. It gives me time out and lets me do something that I enjoy. And who doesn't love an excuse to buy make up and nail polish ;P

Shopping Spree :D

Hello petals :)

Finally I have money so I went to Lincoln on Friday to pick up some bits for my London trip next week. First stop was Debenhams and luckily it was sale season. I picked up a bit of a bargain!

Red Herring Jersey Jacket with Corsage - £14.50

Then I popped into Yours Clothing as I was after a maxi dress to go out in next week. I found this beauty:

Maxi Jersey Dress - £30

Belt - £10

Lost In Paris T-shirt - £14

Wandering back into town I stopped off in Boots and picked up this bargainlicious lot:

17 Wild Curls Mascara with free gift set - £5.99
Soap & Glory was on 3 for 2 so I picked up The Righteous Butter Body Lotion pump (£6.50) and 2 travel sized pots (£2.25)

After a really disappointing, fruitless search in Primark (shocking, I know!) I headed to New Look and found this divine little bag and necklace to complete my outfit for dinner in London:

Clutch bag - £10
Necklace - £4

Have you found any bargain items in the sales?

Day Nineteen: A talent of mine

Hiya :)

The next part of the 30 Days tag is to show you a talent of mine. Hmm.

Image Credit: Google Images then shamelessly edited by me ;P

The only thing I can think of is my nail art. I don't profess to be an expert or in any way brilliant, but its something I enjoy doing and I've had some great feedback, so I'm going to class it as my talent :D

Here's a couple of my favourite examples:

Day Eighteen: Whatever tickles your fancy

Hello lovelies :)

Day 18 of the 30 Days tag is another chance for me to post about whatever I like.

I've borrowed this tag from Laura's blog - go and check it out :)

1. Would you rather go out with messy hair and nice make-up or nice hair and no make-up?
I can rock the messy hair look. Mine just tends to go wavy now it's shorter anyway so I'd rather pull that off than go out with no make-up. Deary me!

2. Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have your eyelashes fall out?
Well I'm rubbish with fake eyelashes and I'd look stupid without any, and you can draw your brows back on I suppose so I'd rather shave my eye brows!

3. Would you rather be forced to shop at only MAC or Sephora for the rest of your life?
We don't have Sephora in the UK, and I've never been to a Sephora store so I'd have to say MAC

4. Would you rather wear the lipgloss/lipliner look or an 80's perm?
Oh my I would never pull off a perm, so I'd go with the lipgloss/lipliner look

5. Would you rather leave the house with an obvious foundation line or overdone blush?
Overdone blush. Foundation lines just look stupid!!!

6. Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or biker shorts in public?
Oh godddd MC Hammer pants haha. No way would I ever be seen dead in biker shorts!

7. Would you rather have a bad orange-y spray tan or really wierd tan lines that can't be covered?
Oh my. I always laugh at people that have been Tango'd. Tan lines can totally be covered... just wear layers haha. And it washes off anyway right?

8. Would you rather have a bad haircut or bad hair colour?
Bad hair colour. At least I could dye over it!

9. Would you rather have YouTube or Twitter taken away forever?
YouTube as I don't personally make videos or communicate with people on it and I don't really watch many videos so I wouldn't really miss it, whereas I speak to loads of people on Twitter and really enjoy using it most of the time.

10. Would you rather give up using make-up brushes or mascara?
I would never give up mascara. So it'd have to be brushes really.
