Review: e.l.f. Studio Blush Brush

Hello dears :)

A while ago, I stocked up with make up brushes from e.l.f.. The Studio Blush brush is a firm favourite, so much so, that I ordered a second one within a matter of days of receiving the first. This is definitely a must have in your collection, and for £3.50 you can't go wrong!

Product

e.l.f. sayThis new anti bacterial, synthetic haired Taklon brush is softer and more absorbent and can be used with wet or dry products. Be a professional make up artist and create a flawless look with this e.l.f. studio brush! Creates a defined and sculpted look. The tailored design allows for easy maneuvering and precise color application. Use to apply blush or bronzer. Vegan Friendly.

I say: I really love these brushes as they're soft and perfectly shaped thanks to the tailored design, which helps them to pick up the right amount of product. I use one for applying blush, and one for applying my contour colour. I find it really easy to apply both using this brush, and I can also blend the colour out as needed. I think e.l.f. are on to a winner with their studio brushes. They look like they should be far more expensive than they actually are, and I particularly love the blush brushes as they come with little brush guards to help keep them in shape. Handy!

Application

e.l.f. saySweep brush over cheekbones for a flush or color. Use the pointed edge of the brush to sculpt the face and contour around the hairline and jawline.

I say: These brushes pick up and deposit just the right amount of product, so there's no danger of looking like a clown. Always helpful! I love the shape of these brushes, as the description mentions, it really helps when using contour. Also, I've had zero shredding with these brushes.

  2. At first I didn't use it, because I thought it was too small (dunno why), but now I use it and I love it!! :)

  3. I thought it was a bit small in comparison with my older Avon brush but I prefer this as it's a better shape and feel :) xx

  4. This brush I'm not so happy about - it seems a bit too thin for me. Other people call it their HG contouring brush but I don't know... I think even for contouring my brandless angled blush brush is better :S.

  5. LiisK - Oh really? I love this for blush and for contouring, for this reason I have two of them now. I guess everyone has their favourite brushes for contouring and for blush :) xxx
