Review: Aussie Limited Edition Colour Mate Shampoo & Conditioner

Hello crumpets :)

I may be the last person on the planet to have discovered Aussie, but fear not, I have arrived at the party. This late thing is becoming habit. Matte nails, pastel polish, Sleek. I digress. This a reviewproduct rave. To see why, keep reading :)

Shampoo: Remember those lazy, hazy days of Summer? Err, nor do we. But at least your coloured hair can look as bright as a parakeet. We've given our Colour Mate Shampoo a Summer makeover - complete with a sexy hair accessory. So treat coloured locks to some sunny TLC and turn up your colour to flaming hibiscus! Oh how we love Australian Wild Peach. This juicy formula oozing of the fruity stuff, comes to the rescue of coloured tresses making sure hues stay bright and hair comes alive. It's the next best thing to a strapping, hot lifesaver - and your hair will love you for it.

Conditioner: Us Aussies like to keep things simple, but we make up for it in hair care! For colours that literally jump out of the bottle (and into your hair) grab our Limited Edition Colour Mate Conditioner. Blossoming with Aussie design influences, this hot little thing will keep your tresses tamed and trouble-free. Oh how we love Australian Wild Peach. This juicy formula oozing of the fruity stuff, comes to the rescue of coloured tresses making sure hues stay bright and hair comes alive. It's the next best thing to a strapping, hot lifesaver - and your hair will love you for it.

I say:
Shampoo: I was in need of a good shampoo to prolong the colours in my hair. At a loss as to what to choose, I opted for Aussie as everybody raves about the brand. Now I see why. This stuff is amazing!! It smells utterly delicious thanks to the Australian Wild Peach. And I'm pleased to say that the scent lingers on your hair, even the day after you've washed it. Yummy!

Conditioner: This has to be the best conditioner I have ever come across. I kid you not. The first thing I noticed was the consistency. It's thinner than other conditioners which surprised me. I think this is good as it didn't feel like it was weighing my hair down. And again, it smelt absolutely delish!

Application

Aussie say
Shampoo: Wet and massage deeply into scalp and neck. Breathe in and enjoy the delicious smell. Rinse out. For best results, yep you've guessed it, use with Colour Mate Conditioner.

Conditioner: Work conditioner through clean, damp hair. Rinse well. Enjoy hair with super shine, full colour and vitality. And for best results, use with Aussie Colour Mate Shampoo.

I say:
Shampoo: This smells amazing. The consistency is pretty good too, not too thick, not too thin, and lathers really well. Did I mention it smells amazing?

Conditioner: I applied the conditioner to the ends of my hair and combed through with my fingers and left it for a few minutes before rinsing. I noticed that it left my hair tangle free (which is a first), smelling divine, and gorgeously shiny, soft and silky. I also noticed that when I curled my hair, it stayed put! This never happens when I've used other conditioners. Win!

  1. Thanks for reviewing these for me! Is the conditioner the same peach scent as the shampoo? Would you say its helped your colour stay longer?

    Thanks!
