Hello my sweets :)
Another blog sale bargain for your delectation today, and one of my absolute faves! This is shade #S0 - Nude.
Product
MUFE say: The Star Collection offers a medium coverage with a pearly shine. Contains a high concentration of interferential pearly pigment particles, glass microspheric balls, hyaluronic acid and Gold of Pleasure oil, beeswax and tetraester of high molecular weight.
I say: Did most of that go over your head too? I love this shade as I didn't previously own a nude lipgloss, so this is a most welcome and perfect addition to my collection. It's everything that you could want from a lipgloss - glossy (that'll be the glass microspheric balls then), pearly (that'll be the pearly pigment particles), soft (that'll be the beeswax), long lasting, subtly scented (hello tetraesters) and not in the least bit sticky. It also makes my lips look perfect. I reckon that'll be the hyaluronic acid and the Gold of Pleasure Oil. Check out my Chemistry knowledge ;) * My A-Level Chemistry teacher would be proud ;P
Application
MUFE say: Use the silky synthetic brush to cover your lips. To boost the shine of a lipstick, use Lab Shine as a top coat.
I say: As the description mentions, there is a soft brush applicator in the lid of the Lab Shine Star Collection which is just the right size, and precise enough to cover my lips with gloss. I often use it on top of a lipstick to give a different finish. I find that this gloss is quite long lasting and I only need to reapply after eating. This particular gloss smells lovely - a sweet orangey scent - but it's not overpowering like high street glosses can be. Rimmel, I'm looking at you.
