Review: e.l.f. Studio Fan Brush

Morrrrrning :)

As promised, the first in a long line of e.l.f. reviews!

Product

e.l.f. sayThis new anti bacterial, synthetic haired Taklon brush is softer and more absorbent and can be used with wet or dry products. Be a professional makeup artist and create a flawless look with this e.l.f. studio brush! Unique fan shape blends away makeup mistakes. Dusts, wipes, and contours powders. Use to create a soft wash of color over the cheeks, to apply a touch of loose powder to cover shine, or as a blending aid.

I say: I've been impressed with the other Studio brushes that I've tried, and I needed a large fan brush so I decided to try this. I bought it primarily to use when tidying up fallout, however I've found it's not that great at this particular task. However I have found that it's great for highlighting cheekbones etc.

Application

e.l.f. sayUse to remove fallen eye-makeup by “fanning” away product. To add color to the face, dip into powder and dust on color to highlight cheekbones for a soft and natural look.

I say: As you can see, this is quite a large brush. It's fairly soft and very flexible which is exactly what you want for sweeping away fallout or highlighting.

  1. I have this, but was really disappointed. I found it a bit too thin and flexible, glad you had more luck than me! :) xx
