Loving & Loathing

Hiya :)

Here's what I'm loving and loathing this week:

Loving
* Joshua Radin's album
* Finishing and handing in my essays a week early
* Getting a bigger wage slip than expected
* Going shopping
* Working to earn more money to justify said shopping spree
* Helping Mum make this cake for Dad's birthday:

Chocolate Indulgence Cake - my uncle's top secret recipe apparently.
It was yummy ;P

Loathing
* Rude store staff - HMV Hanley I'm looking at you
* Annoying customers
* The stupid '5 items only rule' in Primark changing rooms...
* People not texting me back and messing me around
* Being skint the day after I've been paid. Fail!
* Break outs =\
* My skin suddenly going from normal to dry :S
* One incredibly annoying watery eye which ruins my make up, makes my eye red and puffy, and makes it look like I've been crying. Fail.
* The library not being 24/7 but 24/5... and discovering this fact half an hour before closing time...

  2. Hi Kim,
    I've just started reading your blog and I absolutely love it. The only thing is I'm living in Poland at the moment and won't be back in the UK until July so it's quite *painful* to see picures and reviews of things I'd like to buy but can't...Anyway, can you tell me where to get a dotting tool? Also, I loved the manicure you did with your Konad tools but I'm not familiar with this kind of nail art- to do a similar thing do I need a Konad stamper and scraper or just an image plate?

  3. Hi Laura Claire! Thank you so much :) Yes, sure, I bought mine from this eBay seller: http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/premiumplaza__W0QQ_armrsZ1

    I think they cost me something like £3 or £4 so very cheap and you get 5 double ended tools for that price :)

    If you want to start Konad-ing you will need a stamper, scraper, image plate, a plate holder if you wish although the latter is not necessary. Konad recommend using their polishes too but I just use whatever I fancy and they usually work pretty well. I bought my Konad set from Amazon although there are plenty of sellers all over the web. Hope this helps. If you need any more help, feel free to drop me an email :) xx
