Sunday Selection

Hi de hi :)

I hope you're all well. First off, I must apologise for the sporadic posting patterns. Due to uni work and actual work I've been pretty busy and just haven't gotten around to posting. It's likely to be like this until the beginning of May due to essays/revision/exams etc. Things that did get posted were scheduled posts. Don't worry though, I have been reading and replying to comments :)  However the old Student Loan is due in a couple of weeks and I'm planning on doing a few huge cosmetics/skincare/clothing hauls so there will definitely be some posts on their way. And I might actually get round to making that 'Upcoming Posts' list a bit smaller ;P I'll make sure I get the Sunday Selection posts done though so you know I'm still around and poking my nose around the interwebs! Now on to the interesting stuff :)

What's new on my blogging radar?
Just the one this week folks: Rachel has just started a new blog, Queen of Turquoise. Check it out :)

New posts I <3

Leanne's done it again with another easy peasy nail design - finally there's a use for those annoying sponge applicators!

In other news
The fabulous Bicky posted about animal testing this week. You should all go and take a look, it's surprising which cosmetics and skincare companies still test on animals today. Quite coincidentally, I read a post by Jasmine on Friday that mentioned an EU Directive that comes into effect in 2013 that will ban cosmetics testing on animals. Basically for those that don't have a Law degree under their belt, once in effect, all EU Member States (which includes the UK) must implement this. So that means, cosmetics companies in the UK, and indeed Europe, will no longer be able to test on animals from the date of implementation. I was appalled to see the number of companies that currently test on animals. I'm going to try my hardest to avoid them from now on!

That's it for this week :) If you have any blogs/posts/beauty news you'd like to share with me, let me know :) They might even make it into next week's Sunday Selection!
