Review: Johnson's 3 in 1 Facial Cleansing Wipes for Normal Skin

Hello :)

Pinch, punch, first of the month and all that jazz! I can't believe it's the first of April today! I have my very last lecture of my degree this afternoon. Then it's all over! The last 3 years have gone so quickly! Anywho, you're not here to read my ramblings about uni are you? No. You're here to read my amazing review, right? ;P

Product

What Johnson's say: Cleansing facial wipes cleanse, tone and effectively remove make up, even waterproof mascara. Gentle enough to use around sensitive eyes.

What I say: I really like these wipes. To start with, they're bigger than my current ones, so that's a big bonus. And they're incredibly moist when they come out of the packet, unlike some.  However, there is a downside. I hate the smell. It's horrible. Why, when Johnson's other products smell so nice, do these smell so vile?

Application

What Johnson's say: Nothing but it's pretty self explanatory right, I mean it's a facial wipe. Clue's in the name ;P

What I say: These wipes remove all traces of make up incredibly well, including waterproof mascara. Win. I think the formula of the chemicals in these wipes have something to do with that. They feel different on my skin. I can't really put my finger on it, but whatever it is, it works. They don't irritate my skin either. But boy do they irritate my eyes beyond belief?! That could just be me though, I might need the sensitive ones instead. Apart from that, and if you can stand the smell, I'd recommend them.

Price: £2.99 (Currently on 3 for 2 at Boots)

  4. I used their Eye Make up Remover pads ages ago and they stung my eyes. They got chucked out in the end. Maybe we're not suited to Johnson's products? Such a shame as these wipes had great potential xox

  5. I tried these and the sensitive ones and weirdly the sensitive ones stung my eyes more. Needless to say I've not stuck with them. I'm using Garnier's Soft Essential ones and they're much nicer, they don't sting and they subtlely smell like roses.

  6. Oh gosh really? That's awful. I don't think I'll try them then! I haven't tried Garnier, but I might next time I need some. Saying that it's 3 for 2 in Boots atm so I will probs pick some up :) xox

  7. The Soft Essentials range is on 3 for 2 atm so I picked up another couple of packs and the moisturiser which I also use this week so I'm well stocked up.They're the only wipes I've tried that I can use to take eye make up off without them stinging.
