I know there's been a million and one posts about Glamour and their Benefit freebies. But I'm going to review one. I haven't seen many, so I hope this isn't the hundredth one you've seen. Apologies if it is!!!
Product

I say: We've all heard of using white eyeliner to line our waterlines and that it is supposed to make us look bright eyed and bushy tailed. I for one have never tried this and was a bit sceptical. However, when finding out that Glamour would be on sale for a mere £2 with a free Eye Bright inside worth £14, I couldn't resist trying it. Luckily, Glamour went on sale the day before I was due to be up at 5am for a long commute to Birmingham - I was definitely going to need to look awake! I was pleasantly surprised to see that Eye Bright was in fact a soft pink shade. Intrigued, I applied it. I could not have been more pleased with this! I instantly looked wide awake. Fantastic. This would explain why I made my Mum detour to Tesco on the way home that night so I could pick up another copy of Glamour :D
Application
Benefit say: Apply to the inner and outer corners of your eyes and blend. For best results, apply as the final step after you've applied other make up.
I say: I've heard that this can be applied in a variety of ways. I chose to use it on my waterline. As I said above, it really works and made me look bright eyed and busy tailed. Win! In Glamour it also says that this can be applied beneath your brows to highlight, and also below your eyes to combat dark patches. I have to say I tried the latter and found it just didn't work at all. Maybe that's just me though. Let me know if you've tried this particular course of application :)

Have you tried Eye Bright? What do you think?
I only wish I could use something like this. My waterline is hideously sensitive. My eyes are generally. I could certainly do with a lift!
ReplyDeleteGreat review! I've got a review on this to be published today, that is if I manage to find time to finish it!

Glad you got on well with it, I haven't tried it yet, since rushing out and panic buying it.
ReplyDeleteI love eye bright :) I have several because I did purchase the benefit a long time ago and used it all up :)
ReplyDeleteI have used this under my eyes to conceal my dark circles, cover redness as well as using it to make my eyes look wide awake :)
my friend used it once as a form of eyeshadow base and she said this works well and she also tried it as a highlight along the brow bone which I am yet to try out but I will next time I am applying my makeup :)
I love the multi purpose use this product has and I am so glad Glamour gave these products free
Jaljen - Aww that's a shame! xx
ReplyDeleteCat - Thank you :) Oo I'll be sure to take a look xx
Roz - I think you'll love it! It's quickly become a staple item in my make up routine :) xx
Jodie - It's brilliant isn't it?! I didn't think to use it as an eye shadow base, although I'm sure I read that you could somewhere. Yay for Glamour freebies :D xx
I also chose the Eye Bright with my copy of Glamour, I've been using it as an eyeshadow base (which works wonders with Barry M dazzle dust!) and in the inner area of my eye to highlight. Love this prod ;)
ReplyDeleteOh wow I'll try it with my dazzle dusts :D It's so brilliant :) xx
ReplyDeleteI just followed your blog and I love your reviews! I absolutely adore Eye Bright. I love the lifting action it gives on my brow bone :)
